The Perth Pickleball Club Ethos
We offer all members the opportunity to participate and contribute to the growth of pickleball as an inclusive community-based sport. All are welcome to apply for membership. Our objectives include promoting and developing the highest degree of sportsmanship, fairness and integrity among all our players, irrespective of their ability levels.
Our Club Values
Our club sessions and coaching activities have been developed to incorporate the Pickleball Scotland five key values:
1. We want to create safe physical and emotional spaces for all players
2. We want everyone to have fun
3. We want participants to mutually co-learn through a 'Game On!' approach
4. We want to encourage generous and supportive attitudes that foster positive social relationships
5. We want to deliver accessible and inclusive practice based on the 'Efforts Are Successes' ethos
Inclusive Pickleball
Along with our adoption of Pickleball Scotland's key values and the "Efforts Are Successes" ethos, as our club grows we aim to offer a weekly session programme for different levels of ability from Beginner up to Advanced and High Performance game play.

Perth Pickleball Club is a member of the Live Active Sport for Change network and we share their aim of promoting sport activities that are good for mental health. We're also members of Perth & Kinross Stronger Communities network which helps support community groups and encourages local people to get more involved with health and wellbeing inclusion activity.

We became a SAMH (Scottish Action for Mental Health) signatory in April 2023, as we provide physical activity within sport being active can have positive benefits for our general well being as well as reducing stress. There are also added positives of having fun and forming friendships which in turn can reduce social isolation within a section of our community.
